Radio Frequency Skin Tightening

When radiofrequency is delivered to skin, it heats the dermis and subcutaneous tissues in controlled manner without any damage to epidermis. Under the effect of this heat dermal collagen contracts giving skin a tightening effect. The effect is slowly progressive resulting in stimulation of production of more collagen. Ultimately skin looks more rejuvenated and gives ‘Lifted’ appearance to forehead, cheeks , jaw line and neck.

Apart from face, RF can also be used for loose skin over arms, abdomen, back and thighs. The ideal candidates are the ones with mild to moderate skin laxity without any deep skin folds. A great advantage of RF is that it has very low downtime. Some may develop mild post procedure redness which may last for few hours.

It is a very safe procedure for dark skin types. Very low chances of post procedure darkening makes it safe in Indian or other Asian patients.
